There is always a reason why I should paste a photo of gloomy background with a mere few candles in lighting. That was a snap shot I took in one of the candlelight vigil held on 26/9/08 at Dewan Sri Pinang, a function purportedly held by the NGO and Suaram to stage supports for the calls by the decent public to abolish the draconian law ISA, to protest and appeal to the Government to release the iconic Blogger, Raja Petra Kamarudin, also known as Pete and RPK, together with many others who had been unduly arrested and incarcerated in the detention camp at Kemunting! The vox-pop majority has felt that RPK's arrest with ISA was over the bound and uncalled for! The draconian ISA (Internal Security Act) was supposedly to be a harsh act to deploy for the clampdown on arm terrorists, who had, prior to the disband of the outlaw communist party, be confronted as the terrorists who caused the Country's internal security and national stability in the state of dreadful emergency and turbulence! Also, the so-called leftists wings were so active that they caused on the civil society restless anxiety and reeling with no peace of lives which affected the livelihoods of the peace loving citizenry. The implication of ISA then was deemed necessary and unavoidable!...........
Not now after decades of development and advancement, Malaysia has been considered one of the ultra-advanced States in this Asia Pacific region, whereby, Monarchy Constitutional Democratic principles have been well preserved and embraced, all citizens are law abiding and subservient to the Federal Constitutions established as the supreme laws of which the pluralistic society abides, there is no such thing and be here any room for the terrorists to domicile and exist in this modern era anymore! Unless they are invited, the religious extremists and terrorists from the close neighborhood may have their squatting somewhere, yet we believe they were under close surveillance and checked by the Government! The lawful citizenry who are patriotic definitely have learned their lessons from the times of civil wars and will not harbour or support any of these undesired elements to infiltrate and disturb the hard-earned peacefulness and social harmony and stability that we have had enjoyed for decades, for more than by-centennial! No civilian in this Nation will be stupid enough to have had wanted to invite any terrorism to spoil their peaceful homes, that is for sure and beyond any doubts!
How can a very senior Home Minister who had had uttered such a remarks that in the blogger sphere, there is such a new invented category of Blog Terrorists and he self-proclaimed RPK to be a Blog Terrorist, which was the key reason for his arrest under the ISA?! A learned person, a member from the lineage of Royal family, a Raja Petra Kamarudin, a patriotic citizen like any one of us the Malaysian, could be enwrapped the turban of Osama and tagged him the Terrorist?! Whence he was outspoken to dig out the scandals and many misdeeds of the Public Office, to expose the alarming level of corruptions in the House, which if not checked, is devastating to not only the social morality, but also, will ruin the whole Nation and Her economy in no time! Whence he's in high standing crying out boldly and righteously, to urge the Government that be to reform from the antiquated rule of law and policies, to install proper universal rule of law to ensure real democracy and justice prevail in his Nation, the Administrative and Executive Institutions instead of listening to Him, resorted to gag his mouth and tied him with such brutal force, they the Government that be thinks that it can work well to prolong their self-seeking, egocentric lusts without anyone else to stage as opponent to them?! Then they are very wrong, they are seriously wrong for they fail to realise that RPK's spirit has flourished, now there is not only one RPK in this beloved Land, there are thousands of RPK out there now are coming to face the despotic Government, until and unless they the Government has changed, they the Government will be replaced and changed by some other Party which has had heard the soprano of CHANGE by the masses of citizenry who own the undeprivable rights of being the Masters of the governing institutions, the civil servants at large! The Masters will prove to the recalcitrant unchanged Government that be, that, they are under the disposal of the Rakayt! Not that otherwise!
