Sibu By-Election....the embeded worries of PR.....

Winner of the Sibu Parliamentary by-election, DAP’s Wong Ho Leng waves to supporters at the counting centre in Sibu May 16, 2010. He managed to win a wafer thin majority of 398 votes which is said to be a break through in the historical stronghold constituency of SUPP/BN — Picture

Before i go into slumber, let me do up some night diary and the analytical work for the aftermath of this thrilling 'buy-election' once more, and again, after Hulu Selangor by-election which costs BN another big bomb in layman's lingo ........

Post Mortem

The Sibu by-election was said to have only slightly less than 60% turn-out rate of voters. The majority win line was contributed by the urban Chinese voters - but elderly - where the youngish voters seemed to be lackadaisical in fulfilling their responsibilities as the future bosses of the Nation!

It does not bode well for PR which fundamentally is based on the supports of the youthful and intellectual brains whom they were yearning for Change.

Why? There must be a reason and the cause of it is worth the electoral think tank of PR to drill into threshing it out on the table and to seal the gap, enhance politico KPI , undergo honest soul searching as has deemed necessary in order to entrench PR on a higher ground combating with BN in the 13th GE forthcoming!

Based on my analysis -- The cold response of the young voters did not come out to vote during a public holiday is a testament of a lack of political consciousness and/or probably, a silent revolt to the chaotic political scenario currently prevails in the Nation. Mostly felt by these novices in life is the very bemusing political stance whereby the high key of 1-Malaysia BN music and the drumming of change by PR have not truly penetrated into their mind-numbing reception, and reassuring it as a belief is still like rainbow casting in the air, so near yet so far, which is yet a whim and fancy they could have been offered thus far!

No doubt, in general, the whole of BN has been clearly identified as a group of hypocritical liars, corruptible and despotic in real life experiences by the fair minded youths, PR could also not be able to convince them that it is an effective replacement should they all throw in their souls to support it. So far, what PR and its coalition parties could prove for their witnessing is nothing better than the BN/UMNO but a close substitute as a lesser feudalistic regime which is also most hatred by them, and the decent rakyat!

Anwar as the defacto leader of PR, he's unable to prove his capability of being a leader for all with good moral and the nobility of a venerable Statesman who's assigned to salvage the Nation and the peoples' protracted trauma too long has been haunted by the protege of the old colonial master, UMNO and its other running dogs!

His reputation has been blemished, by far, his Sodomy II and the empty promises to engineer for Change did not speak louder than the real life demonstration of a topsy-turvy and a mismanaged group of fans they at best constituted a pool of frogs with majority, principle less!

3 years had since past, after 308, what has PR concretely casted to show a strong Pakatan for Rakyat rather than all they had been proving to be a Pakatan without a single emblem of unison in all differential creeds, ideologies, practices of governance etc. Amongst the many PR ruling States, tell me, which one has a unique set of governance which reflects the true PR spirit strongly adheres to a constitution, with strong principle, which crafted and designed for the Rakyat's interests?!

Is CAT governance the best?! Then can CAT be the tagline for PR and to cut across all States which have been within the staple of PR?! I doubt very much if the answer is YES.

I too had to a certain degree been disenchanted and the bewilderment of what is and where is the CHANGE forthwith PR has achieved has become more and more intense in my perceptive and cerebral mechanism! Neither is CAT doing anything to handsomely convince me of their outstanding performance other than they have their saddles on the same old horses lack of any innovation and proactive governance, not to mention any so-called big leap advancement!

This is the main reason, i have reason to believe, the many intellectual youngish voters nation wide are having the same perception against the PR and its co-alition factors, and fall short of confidence to continue supporting them into office! A less evil has since become an average evil and soon enough it will make no difference with the most arrogant, demonic and despotic evil, suchlike the most deprave UMNO!

This is what worries the rakyat most, hence causes the nonchalant attitudes or rather refusal to be lulled into hoodwink by the equivalent, old fashion and unscrupulous political Parties of the day!

'New wine in old bottle'. What difference does it make?!

My two cents.
